What is Drive iQ PRO?
Drive iQ PRO is the NEW way to learn to drive.
Drive iQ PRO is changing the way that driving lessons are delivered.
The course, based around 5 different units, follows a highly structured learning programme (inclusive of post-test elements such as motorway driving and driving at night) and works in conjunction with normal practical driving lessons.
It is supported by state-of-the-art Drive iQ educational software and can only be taught by a specially trained coach.
Whilst teaching you the basic car control skills you’ll need to pass your test, Drive iQ PRO takes you to the next level by improving your mental aptitude for driving.
The overall aim is simple: To ensure that the next generation of young drivers are safer, more responsible and fully equipped to deal with 21st century life on the road.
How is Drive iQ PRO different to normal driving lessons?
Drive iQ PRO incorporates the European Goals for Driver Education (GDE). The GDE was developed as part of an EU project to identify the competencies a driver needs to reduce his/her risk of crash involvement.
It provides a structured framework that is based on 20 years of driver safety research, whereas traditional lessons focus on vehicle manoeuvring and mastery of traffic situations.

Apart from a better understanding of what makes a safe and responsible driver, there are other benefits of choosing Drive iQ PRO.
As soon as a student enrols on a Drive iQ PRO course, they will be eligible for special insurance rates as a provisional licence holder.
On completion of Drive iQ PRO, students will receive an Edexcel accredited BTEC Level 2 award in Driving Science and have access to graduate insurance rates and accelerated no claims bonus.
