I started to learn to drive about 8 years ago I failed two tests and decided to give up!! Then my son turned 17 and decided he wanted to learn to drive and this gave me the inspiration to start again. My son chose “Stay Safe” through a recommendation from a friend, so I thought I would try them too. I feel that “Stay Safe” differ from other driving schools because they teach the skills to drive safely on today’s busy roads not just how to pass a driving test!! On the day of my test I was very nervous but Darren calmed me down and assured me I had the ability to pass, I just needed to drive the way I had been taught and have confidence in myself. I did pass and incurred only one minor!! Thanks Darren I could not have done it without you. I would definitely recommend “Stay Safe” and I feel that even experienced road users would benefit from a refresher lesson with one of their instructors.

Steve makes driving fun! There is no monotone or total dullness like with some instructors that my friends have learnt with. You learn everything you need to know at your own pace and making mistakes is never a problem – merely a learning curve.

Steve’s a funny guy and this definitely reflects in his teaching (and his weird drawings…they’re supposed to be pedestrians…) but the lessons are much more enjoyable because of this and are never a drag. I passed my driving test on my 1st attempt and this is all thanks to Steve.
